From Open Metaverse Wiki

Norwegian.

Content creator, scripter and occasional role player on OpenSim and in SL. Musician, music teacher and engineering school dropout in RL.

As a content creator I'm equally familiar with prims, sculpts, mesh and textures but my speciality is probably mesh optimisation, how to get the best possible visual result with the lowest possible server and client side load.

Since I did study to become a computer engineer before I switched to music, I do know a little bit about programming; just enough to understand basic tech lingo, how software works in principle and why I should never be allowed to write any code.

My alts

The ones relevant here are:

On the hypergrid

  • Tess Juel (Kitely). My main builder alt on OpenSim. Also the one it's easiest to use to contact me in-world.
  • Tess JL (OSGrid). My original hypergrid alt. Should also be fairly easy to get in touch with.
  • Lynx Juel (OSGrid). My backup hypergrid alt. I temporarily lost my Tess alt after the big OSGrid outage in 2015 so I had to create a new one. I log on with this alt fairly often too so should be easy to contact.
  • Storm Juel (OSGrid). This is an alt I created to upload open source content to distinguish it from my own works. Anything with Storm Juel is confirmed CC0 and not made by me.

In Second Life

  • Rey (ChinRey Resident). Originally a minor RP alt, Rey ended up as my SL builder personae and my de facto main. Owner of my house store on the Second Life Marketplace.
  • Bel (RenateIsabella Resident). My scripter alt. Owner of my scripts store on the Second Life Marketplace.
  • StormKB Resident. Same as Storm Juel (OSGrid). Content with StormKB Resident as creator is CC0 public domain and not created by me. Also owner of my full perm building supplies store on the Second Life Marketplace.
  • TessJL Resident. My oldest surviving alt. Owner of my garden and landscaping store on the Second Life Marketplace.
  • Jazz021 Resident. Owner of my sadly neglected furniture and inventory store on the Second Life Marketplace.

(Why I have multiple SL Marketplace stores? There's a limit to how many items you can have in one and I'm already way past that limit even though I've barely started listing my works there.)

On TAG

  • Tess London

(TAG is one of the few surviving OpenSim powered grids not connected to the hypergrid.)

Works In Progress

A list of pages I'm currently preparing for the wiki. I keep this list for my own use but feel free to read, add comments and even edit the pages if you like. But keep in mind that these are unfinished pages, not really ready for publication yet.
